Zimbabwe: Logarusic Rues His Fate
FOR the umpteenth time, Warriors coach, Zdravko Logarusic, is ruing fate.
The Croatian gaffer has been dealt a huge blow, ahead of the crunch 2021 AFCON qualifiers, against Botswana and Zambia, this month.
The Warriors travel to Botswana on March 25, before hosting Zambia at the National Sports Stadium, four days later.
Yet, all the UK-based players he had drafted into his squad, including Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba, will be unavailable for the decisive encounters due to the Covid-19 protocol that side.
Bournemouth’s Jordan Zemura, Tendayi Darikwa of Wigan Athletic, Luton’s Brendan Galloway as well as Admiral Muskwe, will not show up for the upcoming matches.
St Johnstone grab late equaliser at Hamilton for 1-1 draw after Hampden heroics
Guy Melamed scores.
Hampden to Hamilton was quite the drop-off in terms of what was at stake for St Johnstone.
But even though the Betfred Cup winners didn’t get the result they needed to become serious Premiership top six contenders, there was no drop-off in their application.
Saints fell behind to a stunning first half goal, scored by one of their former players, Ross Callachan.
It was undeserved at the time but looked to be enough for the hosts to secure a much-needed victory in their relegation battle.

Hamilton Academical were left aggrieved and stuck on the bottom of the Scottish Premiership after Guy Melamed s late goal for St Johnstone denied them a priceless victory.
Ross Callachan s stunning first-half effort looked like lifting Brian Rice s side to 10th place and leaving their visitors top-six hopes in tatters.
But Israeli striker Melamed struck for the dominant League Cup winners with three minutes remaining - a goal that Rice suspects was offside after seeing video replays.
