Cannabis company Medical Kiwi - the subject of ongoing inquiries by the financial markets regulator - has been denied a listing on the NZX. NZ RegCo chief executive, Joost van Amelsfort, responsible for NZX regulation, confirmed the stock exchange has declined Medical Kiwi s application and determined the company is not suitable for a direct listing at this time.
A Financial Markets Authority (FMA) spokesman said its investigations into the company are ongoing.
Medical Kiwi s chairman and executive director, Aldo Miccio, rejected the characterisation that his firm s application has been declined.

ANN ARBOR – University of Michigan senior Isaiah Livers had surgery on his right foot Friday.
The school said the operation was performed by Dr. David Porter at Methodist Sports Medicine Center in Carmel, Indiana. Recovery time is expected to be a minimum of six months.
Michigan announced during the Big Ten Tournament that Livers had a stress injury in his foot, and he did not play in the NCAA Tournament.

For the second straight year, Isaiah Livers’ offseason will not go as planned. The Michigan men’s basketball senior underwent surgery on his right foot on Friday (Apr. 2), the program announced. The expected recovery time is a minimum of six months.
