Bystanders rescue man swept off rocks in Morro Bay and last updated 2021-01-12 13:25:14-05 Strong waves continued to pummel the Central Coast Monday, sweeping one man off the jetty in Morro Bay. Bystanders say it happened in the blink of an eye. On the big ones you usually see a big wave coming and this one kinda came out of nowhere, Cayucos resident David Pyle said. Pyle was recording the waves on in his phone and says he immediately sprung into action once he saw the man off the rocks. I thought he was going to be okay but when I didn t see him on the rocks, I realized he had gotten washed down. I turned off my phone, put it in my pocket, and raced for the water, Pyle said.

David Pyle s 2007 Peterbilt 379

Jan 12, 2021 David Pyle, of Floydada, Texas, owns this 2007 Peterbilt 379, which is powered by a 625-hp Cat C15 with an 18-speed Eaton and 3:55 rears. Custom paint and body work was done by Lone Star Truck and Body in Canyon, Texas. They completely disassembled the cab and sleeper down to the frame, which was stretched from 265 inches to 300 inches for a better look and smoother ride, Pyle says. He also added Dynaflex 8-inch straight stacks, an Iowa Custom deck plate through the whole frame, a 12 Gauge Customs-fabricated rear bumper, and front air ride suspension. Additionally, 4 State Trucks built both 135-gallon fuel tanks and the 12-inch custom visor. Pyle is an owner-operator leased on with Severt of Columbia, out of Jacksonville, Florida. He mainly runs over-the-road from Florida to California each week, hauling chicken and fish out and bringing back fruits and vegetables.

That group was dismissed in the late morning and staff prepared for an afternoon cohort. Students who returned to the classroom on Monday in the Central Kitsap School District will go to school either in the morning or afternoon every day of the week but Wednesdays, when learning will continue remotely.
