According to court documents and statements made in court, Stern was the principal operator of the Bridgeport Health Care Center ( BHCC ), Bridgeport Manor, and the Rosegarden Health and Rehabilitation Center LLC ( Rosegarden ) in Waterbury, which were privately owned nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
