UW-Casper Commencement Ceremony May 13 for Fall 2020, Spring 2021 Graduates | News

April 6, 2021 Graduation ceremonies for fall and spring University of Wyoming-Casper graduates will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the David Street Station outdoor location. The UW-Casper in-person outdoor commencement will follow the state, Natrona County Public Health and UW COVID-19 guidelines. The ceremony will emulate UW’s main campus mitigation strategies with an abbreviated program of speakers, followed by the awarding of degrees to graduates, says Brent Pickett, UW-Casper dean. There will be no processional or recessional marches, and the stage party will be limited in number. The graduation will be a catered event with staff serving guests, Pickett adds.

New Casper City Council Members Take Oath of Office

The nonpartisan Casper City Council on Tuesday welcomed four new members and one re-elected incumbent who expressed their hopes for the next two years, and said farewell to four others who expressed their thanks for the opportunity to serve.
