Octagon appoints managing director amongst 3 promotions July 28, 2021 10:04 Simone Errey has been promoted to the new role managing director, Australia at IPG’s sport and entertainment creative agency Octagon. Errey’s role will oversee all Australian operations, similar to Andrew Clarke’s role. Clarke, who was agency director Australia at Octagon, left in March 2021 to found Super-Sub. Simone Errey Errey has been at Octagon since March 2008, where she joined as senior account manager. She was promoted to head of operations APAC in February 2018, which was her previous title to this promotion. ADVERTISEMENT In the new role, Errey will oversee the agency’s local creative, planning, strategy, commercial consulting, client services and production teams, while also retaining a key position on the APAC senior management team.
