Couple hosts drive-in wedding as 28 carloads of gussied-up guests watch from parking lot
Chris Hibberd and Anistasia Mechefske were married in a masked 10-person ceremony at Flores & Pine restaurant in Bearspaw on Wednesday while 28 cars full of wedding guests caught the ceremony on Zoom in the parking lot outside.

He was a strong advocate for and presided over the county s Adult Drug Court.
364th District Court Judge William Eichman said he cared deeply for those struggling with addiction. He would provide a sounding board for them. He d get to know them. He was more than just the Drug Court judge to them he was their family in some ways. I think if you don t have the heart for it, you shouldn t do it. He did and that s just the person that he was, Eichman said.
He was appointed to the bench in 2006, covering both Lubbock and Crosby counties.
99th District Court Judge Bill Sowder said Reyes was raised to care about others.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - State District Judge Ruben Reyes passed away this weekend due to COVID-19 complications at the age of 56.
Two attorneys who worked with him at the Law Office of Hurley and Guinn said his family roots paved the way for his success and passion in the courtroom.
Ruben Reyes got his outstanding work ethic from his family life in East Lubbock. From Dunbar high school he went to Yale then Baylor Law.
“He blazed a path for other people but never forgot to look back. Never got that he was beyond that station. That he could be real with people just like him,” David Guinn said.
