Owner of Saratoga’s Siro’s restaurant charged with forgery | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS By Stephen Williams/Staff Writer | May 7, 2021 Shares0 SARATOGA SPRINGS An owner of the city’s celebrated Siro’s restaurant near Saratoga Race Course has been arrested on charges of forging paperwork in an effort to get a city permit to open the restaurant last summer, city police said. Scott R. Solomon, 35, of Cohoes, turned himself in to face an arrest warrant on Thursday, police said. He was released on his own recognizance. Solomon faces two counts of second-degree forgery, one involving an official document and one involving legal documents such as contracts, two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, and two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. All are felonies that could result in state prison time.
