Annual festival to present local chamber ensembles

The Sanibel Music Festival s Emerging Artist Series will bring the FGCU Bower School of Music and The Arts Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Strings to the Sundial Beach Resort and Spa in March.
This year, the Sanibel Music Festival will launch the Emerging Artist Series in March.
It will feature chamber ensembles from Florida Gulf Coast University’s Bower School of Music and The Arts on March 23 and March 30 at 11 a.m. at the Sundial Beach Resort and Spa on Sanibel.
“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Kyle Szabo and the talented Bower School of Music artists to Sanibel,” festival President Jana Stone said. “The Emerging Artist Series will showcase promising talent in a beautiful island venue, while allowing strict observance of public health standards.”

A report has revealed how the COVID-19 pandemic has had the highest impact on the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community in Hertfordshire.
Members of the county’s public health and protection cabinet panel were presented with the report at its meeting on Thursday, February 11.
Written by public health registrar Kazim Beebeejaun, consultant in public health Claire Laurent and deputy director of public health David Conrad, the report stated the pandemic has exposed and emphasised the existing inequalities in society.
