Noah Baumbach Signs Exclusive Partnership Deal With Netflix

“Marriage Story” filmmaker Noah Baumbach and Netflix are entering into an official partnership, the streamer announced on Thursday.
Following the success of Baumbach’s recent collaborations with Netflix, the acclaimed director, writer and producer will exclusively write and direct films for Netflix for the next several years.
Baumbach’s next film is “White Noise,” an adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel of the same name. Baumbach will produce “White Noise” alongside David Heyman, with whom he also produced “Marriage Story.” Filming on the project begins later this year.
Having made a couple of movies for Netflix, including the Oscar-winning

Marriage s Adam Driver and Baumbach partner Greta Gerwig are in talks to star in the film, which will adapt the book s story of a professor and his wife who are afraid of death and must confront it head on when a toxic chemical is released in their town. Apart from being an absolutely magical and expansive universe, the world of Harry Potter is one that has built a generation. The people who grew up reading the Harry Potter novels also watched the cast of the movies grow up in their roles. Amazingly, almost all of the Harry Potter cast retained their characters throughout the entire series, which consisted of eight movies over the course of ten years. It would appear that the young actors were helped along to fit the image of their characters as they grew.
