Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview have announced their 2021 Season Under the Stars. Audiences will safely experience live theater once again with two fully produced shows taking place in a new outdoor venue located on the lawn at St. David’s Episcopal Church at 2410 Glenview Road in Glenview, Illinois.
At St. Armands Key Lutheran Church, Director of Operations and Minister of Music Michael Bodnyk worked with church leaders to get a vaccine clinic organized for “quite a while,” he said. A parishioner who worked at Hedges HealthMart Pharmacy in Sarasota made a connection, and the pharmacy offered to supply and administer vaccines and handle registration for an event at the church.
“In our demographic of parishioners, there are a lot of older people with compromised immune systems. Getting the vaccine was important to a lot of them,” Bodnyk said. “Obviously, we wanted to be helpful in any way we could.”

Offering everything from fresh produce, baked goods and prepared foods to flowers, honey and handmade items, these al fresco fairs are great places to shop in the sunshine (or rain) while supporting local businesses. Grab shades, a reusable tote bag and an umbrella (just in case) and visit a market near you!
