The man stood on his head for 90 minutes, facing nine shots on target and making seven saves. Those saves were almost all really, really great. Ochoa was abandoned by his defense, and he kept RSL in the game. Oh and that save on Carlos Vela’s penalty? Yeah. I love it.
Winner: Aaron Herrera
Loser: Albert Rusnak
Albert Rusnak is capable of playing at a tremendous pace of thought, but he repeatedly gave up possession from deep positions when we could have kept it and progressed the ball. Instead, Rusnak opted for risk, and it did not pay off.
SANDY Real Salt Lake almost secured a big result away from home Saturday night.

Aaron Herrera s goal and an outstanding individual effort in goal from David Ochoa were nearly enough to secure points from Real Salt Lake s trip to Los Angeles, its first of two matches against an Angeleno side.

Carlos Vela scored the go-ahead goal with just over 10 minutes left, and LAFC took all three points from a 2-1 win over RSL at Banc of California Stadium.
The Mexican international played his own game of crossbar during the match, placing three of his six shots on target and having a penalty kick saved in the second half.
