A historic New Jersey church was forced to temporarily relocate the congregation after snow from this week s storm collapsed its roof.
The roof and side wall of the 95-year-old Shiloh Baptist Church in Newark came down around noon on Tuesday, shattering the Tiffany stained-glass windows.
No one was inside the Davenport Avenue building at the time of the collapse, and no one was injured, city officials said.
The church s pastor Malachia Brantley, Jr. is relocating his 300-person congregation down the road to the church s youth center. Pray for Shiloh, he wrote on Facebook. It s devastating, but not dead.
