Leiston boss Danny Laws says Town academy striker Tom Winter has been “fantastic” since he joined the Ryman League Premier Division side on loan last month and would be delighted if other young Blues were to spend time at Victory Road in the future. Winter has netted four times since making the temporary switch to Leiston last month.
“He’s doing fantastic,” Laws told TWTD. “He came in at very short notice, which was good for us because we were up against a deadline of March 31st and I’d only been in the job a couple of days.

April marks the beginning of Child Abuse Awareness Month. Family Services of Chemung County, Inc. authorities shared some disturbing statistics as well as important approaches you can help deter child violence.
Every year, almost 700,000 children in the United States are raped, as per the National Children s Alliance. In 2008, New York State passed the Safe Harbour for Abused Children Act, making it the first county in the nation to recognize sexually exploited children as victims of abuse rather than perpetrators.
Child violence continues to be exacerbated by the internet as well as mobile apps. One in every three minors in the United States is expected to play video games with strangers. Sexual abuse can take many forms, from a sexual encounter in return for a warm place to spend the night to traffickers utilizing social media or gaming platforms to entice kids and teens into the life with hollow claims, where they
Orlando City’s decision to withdraw Orlando City B from USL League One this year means that the club won’t have a team in the USL for the second time since 2016. While OCB won’t be participating in the league in 2021, there are still some reasons to watch the country’s professional lower leagues.
When a player is drafted into MLS, the club retains the player’s rights until they become a free agent or are traded. Orlando City has had several draft picks that didn’t work out and have ended up in the USL Championship or USL League One, the country’s second and third divisions. Since these players weren’t traded, the club still holds their MLS rights, even though it’s unlikely they’ll ever rejoin the club.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Mane Landers! Don’t forget to wear your green today. I’ll be out shooting live standups for a project at UCF and enjoying the nice weather. We have plenty to cover today, so let’s get to the links.
Brandon Austin is Settling in at Orlando City
Orlando goalkeeper Brandon Austin is finding his footing with the Lions during the preseason. Austin has been with Tottenham Hotspur’s youth development system since he was 14. While there, Austin was mentored by French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and learned how to play out from the back in a way similar to Orlando’s system under Head Coach Oscar Pareja. The 22-year-old’s physicality caught Pareja’s eye and Austin will compete with Mason Stajduhar for time in goal when Pedro Gallese is on international duty. Although ne

Christian Benteke said he was “ready” to come on and make an impact yesterday, and boy was he right.
“That is what all coaches and managers expect of the players,” Roy Hodgson said after the game. “We have a squad and we can only pick 11 – the only answer to that is to make certain that when you get your chance, you take your chance.
“All too often players would prefer to feel sorry for themselves, rather than do what Christian did tonight.
“That’s how it should be.”
No player has scored more stoppage time goals in Premier League history than Benteke – but who are some of Palace’s other super subs?
