ctor Pia Bajpiee on Tuesday said her brother passed away after a frantic search for ventilator beds in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Bajpiee, who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu cinema, took to Twitter and posted an SOS call, writing that she urgently required a ventilator bed as her brother was dying . She didn t specify if he had COVID-19. I need urgent help in district Farukhabad , kayamganj block, UP. A bed with ventilator. My brother is dying. Any lead please help. Please contact if you know anybody. We are already in mess (sic), the 27-year-old actor wrote.

A sessions court has dismissed the appeal filed by the man who married teenager Christian-turned-Muslim girl Arzoo seeking her custody.
Ali Azhar has been through a trial for allegedly kidnapping the girl, who is said to be under the age of 15, forcibly marrying her and raping her. His two brothers, as many lawyers, a friend and a cleric have also been implicated for allegedly facilitating the offence.
Azhar, who was recently released on bail, had pleaded to the court to allow him to meet his wife who is currently living in a shelter home. He said that being a single male member, he was having difficulties in taking care of his family.

In order to commemorate Earth Day, over 100 eminent poets, musicians, actors, singers and artists from across the world will come together virtually to and will read the ‘Earth Anthem’ penned by senior Indian diplomat Abhay Kumar.
The anthem was written by Kumar, Ambassador of India to Madagascar and Comoros and a poet, in 2008 in Russia and since then it has travelled a long distance, having so far been translated into 60 languages.
