The Anglican Bishop of Accra Diocese, Rt. Rev. Daniel S.M. Torto says the ability of one to provide good leadership is not dependent on the faith the person belongs to.
Delivering his Easter Sunday sermon at the church, where Vice President Bawumia was the church s special guest, Rt Rev Torto acknowledged unifying character of the Vice President, as well as his leadership credentials and used it to underscore his sermon on leadership. The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Accra, Rt. Rev. Dr. Daniel S.M Torto, has prophesied an unquenchable bright future for the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Addressing congregants at the Easter Sunday Service of the church on Sunday, April 4, 2021, Rt. Rev.Torto declared that “no man can dim” the light of the Vice President, and urged him to remain steadfast and work for God and man because he is on a worthy cause.
“There is light ahead of you and only God can put that light off. No man and I mean no man can dim your light… Your kind is the kind of political leadership we want as a nation. Leadership that recognizes that respect for people irrespective of faith, religion or ethnicity in a manner that fosters national cohesion is what we desire and deserve as a people,” Rt. Rev Torto stated when Vice President Bawumia, joined members of the Anglican faith in Easter Sunday worship.
