Stan has released first look images of its upcoming local series
The Tourist starring Jamie Dornan (
The Fall,
The six-part thriller is from Two Brothers Pictures (
Baptiste, The Missing, Fleabag), created and written by Harry and Jack Williams was filmed in South Australia.
The cast includes Danielle Macdonald (
Unbelievable,
Line of Duty, Roadkill), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson
(Trapped, The Missing) and Alex Dimitriades (
The End, The Cry). Damon Herriman (
Mindhunter, Justified) also joined the series playing Lachlan Rogers, replacing Hugo Weaving who departed the production due to scheduling issues.
An airdate is yet to be announced.

In the first look photos, Jamie s character reveals his rugged look as he s seen driving a car and filling up his gas tank at a petrol station.
He looks pensive behind the wheel, glancing at the rear view mirror as a truck speeds towards him.
Plot: Filmed in South Australia, his character known simply as The Man , is driven off the road by a tank trunk and ends up in hospital. Upon waking, he struggles to make sense of his identity as those from his past continue to hunt him down
Another image sees Jamie filling up his car with gas, while a further shot captures his character walking along a dirt road with nothing or no one else in sight.

HBO Max released three images from the upcoming series The Tourist. All three pictures show star Jamie Dornan in different predicaments.
ADVERTISEMENT One picture shows Dornan standing in the road in the Australian outback. Another shows him behind the wheel of his car. The third shows him gassing up the car.
Dornan plays a British man driving in Australia. A mysterious truck, whose driver is connected to his past, pushes him off the road.
Damon Herriman co-stars as a detective trying to determine the Brit s identity after he wakes up in a hospital with amnesia. Rogers replaced Hugo Weaving due to Weaving s scheduling issues, according to an HBO Max press release.
