The daughter of two Covid victims has been left heartbroken after coronavirus has devastated her family by taking both parents within days of each other. Geraldine Haughan said: “It has been the most awful time of my life and I am heartbroken - although they were 87 they were so fit, lively and independent. It wasn’t their time to go.” Geraldine’s parents, Gordon and Jean Reardon, from Currock, were fit, active and devoted to each other. Geraldine said: “The family is devastated by their loss. They were taken all too soon, as prior to Covid they had been very active and lively octogenarians.”
