Daniel Caldwell, 49, of The Colony told people he stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and was captured on video spraying an “orange mist” propellant at a line of police officers during the violent uprising, a prosecutor said.
Daniel Ray Caldwell, a former Marine who worked in the semiconductor industry for Texas Instruments, talked about storming the U.S. Capitol during the riot and was seen on video spraying a chemical irritant at a group of officers at a barricade, according to the FBI.

A Houston area man accused of throwing a desk drawer and other items at officers and smashing a window during the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol has been arrested, federal authorities announced Friday.
Shane Jenkins was arrested Friday morning at his home, according to the FBI s Houston office.
