Delwar new envoy to South Korea, Abida to Mexico Diplomatic Correspondent Diplomatic Correspondent Bangladesh has appointed Md Delwar Hossain, director general of Myanmar wing at the foreign ministry, as the next ambassador to South Korea. Abida Islam, who is now the Bangladesh ambassador to Korea, has been appointed as ambassador to Mexico, according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday. Delwar Hossain is a career foreign service officer belonging to the 17th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre. He served in various capacities in Bangladesh Missions in Paris, Tripoli, Thimphu and Beijing in his diplomatic career. At the foreign ministry, he worked for multiple wings in different capacities.
