TERRE HAUTE. Ind (WTHI) - A Terre Haute woman who had her puppy and car stolen Monday evening gets great news Friday morning as her puppy has been found.
Alexis Steppe reached out to News 10 after her puppy had been in the back seat of her vehicle as it was stolen in front of her.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Wabash Valley family is asking the publics help to bring their kidnapped pup and stolen vehicle back.
Alexis Steppe had arrived home Monday evening after adopting a husky puppy from a coworker.
Steppe tells a reporter with News 10 she had bought supplies for the new family member and was in the garage for nearly thirty seconds when a white male, she described as around 5 7 , in his 20 s, approached her.

TERRE HAUTE - Shannon BJ Jeffers, the suspect in a hostage standoff earlier this month at a southern Clay County motel, was captured at approximately noon on Tuesday by the Terre Haute Police Department.
Jeffers had escaped from Union Hospital in Terre Haute in the early morning hours Tuesday while receiving treatment for an injury suffered in the Clay County Jail.
According to a Clay County Sheriff s Department release early Tuesday, Clay County Jail staff discovered Jeffers in a holding cell with lacerations on his arm. Jeffers was transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for treatment.
