TERRYTOWN, Louisiana A shooting in Terrytown, left a man dead outside of a house Sunday.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff s Office, at around 5:45 p.m. gunshots were reported in the 2900 block of South Monterey Ct.
During a search of the area, deputies said they found a man with a number of gunshot injuries in front of a house.
He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to JPSO.
The victim s identity is not known and there is no suspect or motive at this time.

A sixth victim has been recovered from the wreckage of a lift boat that capsized last week off the coast of Louisiana, an official confirmed Wednesday.
The body of Quinon Pitre, 31, of Franklin was recovered from the vessel Tuesday, Jamie Folse, chief of investigations for the Lafourche Parish Coroner’s Office, said in an email. The Seacor Power overturned in roughly 55 feet (17 meters) of water about 8 miles (13 kilometers) off the Louisiana coast during stormy weather April 13.
Six of the 19 people who were aboard were rescued. Six bodies had been recovered as of Wednesday.
The Coast Guard suspended its rescue efforts Monday as the likelihood that anyone else survived diminished. Vessel owner Seacor Marine has continued searching the vessel for signs of the seven still missing.
