Who was Dawn Woods?
Dawn was an
Emmerdale regular between 2003 and 2006. She was introduced as the fiancée of Terry Woods, but viewers also soon discovered that she was the estranged daughter of Bob Hope.
Dawn was born in 1984 to parents Bob and Jean Hope. When Dawn was four years old, Bob walked out on her, Jean and his son Jamie. Dawn and Jamie had little contact with him in the following years.

Deena Payne asked Emmerdale bosses not to employ Tony Audenshaw as her on-screen husband.
The 66-year-old actress played Viv Hope on the ITV soap from 1993 to 2011, and she advised the show s producers against hiring the star to play her hubby Bob Hope, because she thought Tony was really creepy during the audition process.
She said: The truth being there were six people auditioning for Bob and the producer came up to me and said, Look, did you have any feelings about any of them?

DARIEN The overriding message out of Darien’s recent public hearing about proposed zoning bills in Hartford was that local control should be protected.
A dozen community members raised concerns Tuesday about the urbanization of the town, the destruction of historical homes and the threat to future water supply. The hearing was held as part of the Planning & Zoning Commission’s independent review of the zoning bills that some Fairfield County municipalities have criticized.

Drone and dog teams track down three men from police pursuit
A DRONE was used to locate a group of men who had been involved in a police chase. Officers used the piece of kit to find those responsible for a cross border pursuit from neighbouring Cumbria into Lancashire. The drone was able to locate the men and direct officers and canines from the dog unit towards them. A spokesman said: “Another successful find for Lancashire Police Drones. “Located and guided colleagues from the dog unit to a suspect who d made off into fields following a cross border pursuit from the Cumbria force area. 3 arrested in total.”
