Francis Miller released after weeks in jail for bail breaches

Dumbarton Sheriff Court A CLYDEBANK man has been released from jail after spending almost a month behind bars for repeatedly failing to comply with a court’s instructions. Francis Miller, 27, failed on three separate occasions to comply with a bail condition which required him to stay within his registered address between 7pm and 7am. The court s instruction also required Miller to answer the door at any time during those hours to police checking on his whereabouts. Miller was released on bail from Dumbarton Sheriff Court on April 27 this year, but failed to answer when police knocked on his door at Ellinger Court on August 21, September 5 and November 8.
