MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The FBI joined the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies for a joint search warrant operation that led to the arrest of 10 people. The Sheriff’s Office says the Tuesday morning operation is in response to an increase in violent crimes in the community. Law enforcement took the following people into custody:
Deion Bernard Adams, a 27-year-old male, of East Point, was arrested for a warrant out of Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnifer Dernard Barnwell, a 35-year-old male, of Dry Branch, was charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. A family is grieving the murder of a child for the 2nd time. On Sunday night, 16-year-old Jayson Ugwuh was shot and killed near Paloma Ave. and Topping in Kansas City. According to a KCPD statement, officers found him wounded inside a house after responding to reports of gunshots.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A teen shot and killed Sunday night is the fifth homicide of 2021. Police say the victim, 16-year-old Jayson Ugwuh Jr., is the brother of a child shot and killed in 2016. The Ugwuh family is in mourning after another tragic loss.

Kansas City, Kansas, police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two persons of interest.
According to a police spokesman, the two are persons of interest in a case involving an aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer in Kansas City, Kansas.
They both have ties to Liberty, Missouri, and Overland Park, Kansas, according to the spokesman.
Terrell Moore, 16, is a 5-4, 140-pound male with brown eyes and black hair.
Emma Sue Sumptor, 19, is a 5-1, 120-pound female with red hair and green eyes.
