The heroes of
Chicago Fire have faced all manner of crises over the nine seasons of the series so far, and the next episode will see all hands on deck from Firehouse 51 to battle what Herrmann dubs a beast of a blaze. In a clip from the episode that airs on February 3 (seen above), the firefighters pile into Truck 81, Squad 3, and Engine 51 to head downtown where a ten-story storage unit could be burning from inside the walls.
Well, it wouldn t be a
Chicago Fire emergency if the stakes were low and the scenes were safe, so it s only natural that the fire is apparently all the way up on the tenth floor. I m not sure many viewers would agree with Herrmann that a fire before breakfast bodes well for a lucky day, and Cruz definitely looks like he could use an uplifting fortune cookie or two. Based on the description for this episode, however, it ll take more than a fortune cookies to get everybody safely home.

The Chicago Fire episode on Wednesday night is going to look a lot different than a regular episode of the show.
Instead of blending different scenes together and jumping around between different stories during the same episode, the director is presenting lengthy scenes using one take to film them.

Are sparks flying for Chicago Fire‘s Casey and Brett… with other people? As showrunner Derek Haas previously teased to TVLine, this Wednesday’s episode (NBC, 9/8c) will introduce “some new characters” who will serve as “potential roadblocks” to a relationship between the captain and the paramedic. During a recent interview, star Jesse Spencer revealed that one

Chicago Fire is known for many things now that the show is nine seasons in, ranging from the crazy cliffhangers to the complicated relationships to the heartbreaking deaths, and none of those would be possible if not for the action, effects, and stunt sequences that set the show apart. The firefighters of 51 have to fight a whole lot more than just fires. According to showrunner Derek Haas, plenty is on the way, including a prank war.
Chicago Fire boss Derek Haas spoke with CinemaBlend about what s coming to Season 9 in the new year, which kicked off with an episode that had Casey dangling off the end of the aerial while in the process of trying to save lives, which itself was shortly after the huge ambulance crash at the start of the season. Haas revealed what s on the way when it comes to action and effects following the aerial stunt, and it s clear that there s a lot to look forward to:

The Chicago Fire cast is going to see some new characters debuting during Season 9 of the show.
There was already a shift in the Chicago Fire cast this season, with Sylvie Brett (played by Kara Killmer) getting a new partner.
At the end of Season 8, we saw the character of Emily Foster (played by actress Annie Ilonzeh) leave the show. So, when Season 9 of the show began, it wasn’t too surprising that Brett was going to need a new partner.
