I think the biggest takeaway has to be the cowardly (yeah, I said it) swap by Keanu Koht and then JoJo Earle leaving for Bama. The fact that Koht kept telling people he was signing with LSU then the night before you have a “sudden change of heart” not buying it. Earle, while not at a huge position of need (and flipped Nabers as well), comes off as a guy that is going to haunt us for years to come in a Jaylen Waddle mold.

Well I think it’s generally pretty great, they held the class together, closed on Maason Smith, convinced Chris Hilton to sign early, and added a few other high level guys. Most importantly they really didn’t hemorrhage, and are in good position numerically to fill out the rest of this class with bigger needs.

The lone other LSU commitment we are monitoring is
Keanu Koht, who could potentially pull a Signing Day surprise by flipping away from the Tigers. If he moves off his commitment to LSU, keep an eye on Alabama, one of a handful of teams who have offers out to the Sunshine State edge rusher. Koht s announcement ceremony comes at 9 a.m. CST.
Numerous factors impacted the Wilmington area’s Black communities on the World War II home front, underscored by racial segregation.
Wilmington’s recent designation as America’s first World War II Heritage City was based on wartime contributions and history preservation.
During WWII our area, like the south, practiced institutional segregation. Race relations were matter-of-fact and good or bad, depending on viewpoints and restrictions. Life proceeded for both whites and Blacks, separately mostly, together when necessary.
Race divided the public but remarkably hardly affected our successful war effort role.
Black citizens, while enduring discrimination, maintained positive morale, patriotically worked for national victory, and yearned for racial victory - the “Double V campaign.”
