Norwalk mother seeks justice for son hit by car while riding bicycle News 12 Staff Updated on: Jul 09, 2021, 9:47pm A Norwalk mother is on a mission to find a hit-and-run driver who ran into her teen son while he was on his bicycle. Shameka Fisher says her 15-year-old son was on his bike heading to his cousin s house on June 11 around 8:45 p.m. A security camera at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Taylor Avenue captured a driver slamming into him as he crossed during a green light. You know, my son could ve been killed, says Fisher. He kind of flew away from the car and he jumped up instantly off of just adrenaline and he picked up his cellphone that was on the street. The bicycle was stuck underneath the car so that’s why the driver couldn’t drive away right away, so my son he pulled his bike from underneath the car and that’s when the driver took off.
