CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Promote it and they will show up.
Crowds recently attracted to Bank of America Stadium during two weekends, when Atrium Health and Tepper Sports transformed the home of the Carolina Panthers into a haven for COVID-19 shots.
By the thousands, they responded, but this NFL stadium site wasn’t the only place serving those in need.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A second mass vaccination clinic will be held at Bank of America Stadium this weekend with plans to vaccinate 20,000 people.
The clinic is one of several to happen through a public-private partnership between Atrium Health, Honeywell, Tepper Sports & Entertainment and Charlotte Motor Speedway. The mass vaccination clinics have been held at Bank of America Stadium and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Through the partnership, about 36,000 people were vaccinated over the course of two previous weekends with scalability at a rate of nearly 1,500 vaccinations per hour.

Foundation For The Carolinas and Charlotte Center City Partners will co-host a March 2 virtual viewing of the premiere episode of “Delilah,” an Oprah Winfrey Network drama series that was set and filmed in Charlotte.
“Delilah” stars Maahra Hill as Delilah Connolly, a headstrong lawyer living in Charlotte. Series creator Craig Wright serves as executive producer along with Charles Randolph-Wright a native of York, South Carolina and Oprah Winfrey.
