LISBON The Wellsville man accused of murdering his girlfriend was arraigned this week in county Common Pleas Court.
Terrance L. Haywood, 27, of Chester Avenue, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of murder, tampering with evidence and having weapons despite a prohibition. The matter will be set for a pretrial hearing.
Haywood is accused of shooting his girlfriend to death Destiny A. Moody after breaking into her Wellsville home on Oct. 22, 2019, and then he reportedly tried to hide the murder weapon and other evidence. The charges include a three-year firearms specification because Haywood was also under indictment on drug charges at the time he was charged with murder.
