There was drama during the recent burial of former MP Zablon Owigo Olang’ in Migori when someone took off with the official seat of Governor Okoth Obado.
The governor’s handlers had strategically placed the seat next to ODM leader’s Raila Odinga. However, another chair was sneaked in at the same spot where the governor’s was.
This happened before the burial began and as Obado walked to the venue, he was surprised to find his initial seat was not there.

ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to attend the burial of former Ndhiwa MP Zablon Owigo in Nyatike, Migori County tomorrow.
Odinga s spokesman Dennis Onyango and Nyatike MP Tom Odege confirmed the former Prime Minister is to attend the ceremony at Raguda village.
“On behalf of the people of Nyatike, I welcome the ODM Party Leader to the constituency and thank him for the decision to help give our former MP a dignified send-off,” Odege said.
The MP asked the residents and guests who will be attending the burial to show up in peace to welcome the former PM and get his guidance on critical national issues.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko caused a scene at ODM leader Raila Odinga s offices at Capitol Hill, Nairobi, after storming past security guards manning the gate.
He further attempted to force his way into the former Prime Minister s office but was repulsed by guards manning the door.
It was not ascertained why Sonko wanted to meet Odinga. However, the embattled politician claimed that the African Union Representative had scheduled a meeting with him. His allegations could not be substantiated.
