Plummeting vaccination rates have turned what officials hoped would be the “last mile” of the coronavirus immunization campaign into a marathon, threatening President Joe Biden’s goal of getting shots to at least 70% of adults by July 4.

By MLF Communications Staff It was the best opening day of the season at the MLF Bass Pro Tour event at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton, Tenn. The 40 pros in Group A caught a single-day total of 271 bass weighing 806-10 on Thursday the heaviest weight caught on any Day 1 so far in 2021.
Russ Lane of Prattville, Ala., was firmly in control of the Group A leaderboard after Day 1 concluded, catching 23 bass totaling 70-12 to grab the early lead in the two-day Group A Qualifying Round. Lane will take a 21-06 lead into Sundays second day of competition for Group A.
Sharon Mills Home On Elder Mountain Goes On The Market For $7 Million Friday, June 4, 2021
A unique home with sweeping mountain and river views on Elder Mountain has gone on the market for $7 million.
The 11,266-square-foot home was built in 1998 for Sharon Mills, daughter of photo magnate Olan Mills.
Ms. Mills, who was a civic leader and arts patron, died last year at age 73.
The home at 901 Skillet Gap Road includes three bedrooms as well as four full baths and two partial baths.
It sites on 26.5 acres with thousands of nearby acres that are protected by the Tennessee River Gorge.
