Each submission must include the following: Date, time and location of event, whether it is recurring or a one-time happening, and where to go for more information (phone, email and/or website). Also include whether the event is free or paid admission, and how much it costs when applicable.
Tickets On Sale For IRELAND WITH MICHAEL A Virtual Concert
Hennepin Theatre Trust announced that Irish singing sensation Michael Londra will entertain fans for St. Patrick s Day in Ireland With Michael - A Virtual Concert. The show will stream on the ShowTix4U platform on Wednesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. (CT) (with viewing available for up to 48 hours). The stunning new concert is a celebration of all things Irish with a wonderful Celtic show, performed by some of Ireland s most talented arts.
Filmed at the National Opera House of Ireland, the concert is a perfect addition to St. Patrick s celebrations featuring the ethereal voice of top Irish tenor Michael Londra. He is backed by the Irish Concert Orchestra, two nationally acclaimed choirs (Valda Choir and The Presentation Children s Choir) and top-class guest singers and musicians from the island of Ireland.
Poles N Holes postponed; more Polar Fest events set for this week
The Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary Club announced Wednesday afternoon that its annual Poles N Holes Ice Fishing Derby, which was scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6, has been postponed to Feb. 13 due to the subzero temperatures expected to sweep through the region this weekend. More Polar Fest events, including the Noon Rotary s Polar-riffic Spaghetti Feed, Ice Tee Golf and Freeze Your Buns Run, are scheduled throughout the week; the festival concludes Monday, Feb. 15.
