Former Orlando Pirates defender Tomas Inguane has given approval of his fellow Mozambican countryman Luis Miquissone’s decision to ignore interest from Kaizer Chiefs in opting to join African champions Al Ahly.
Miquissone sealed his move to Pitso Mosimane’s team last night after the Egyptian agreed to the USD900 000 (approximately R14 million) transfer requested by Simba, half of which is being paid immediately with the balance staggered.
He will now link up with Mosimane again at the start of the new Egyptian season having previously worked with the former Bafana Bafana coach at Mamelodi Sundowns from where he was then loaned out to Chippa United and Royal Eagles.
