She also made her pantomime debut in 2013, playing the fairy godmother at the Manchester Opera House, and reprised the role in 2017 at the Bradford Alhambra.
In her personal life, Coleen married EastEnders actor Shane Richie in 1990.
The couple had two sons before splitting in 1997 and divorcing two years after that.
She then became engaged to her longtime boyfriend Ray Fensome, a musician from Leeds in 2005 and they married two years after that.
In 2018, Coleen announced that she and Ray were getting a divorce which was finalised the same year.
In 2013, Coleen released her autobiography, No Regrets, which shares her personal life and career highs and lows.

The East End has lost its most famous all-round entertainer, singer and comedian with the death of Des O’Connor at the weekend.

The 88-year-old TV star and chat show host had a stage career spanning almost six decades yet came from a humble start in life in Stepney.
He was born in 1932. His mother Maude was Jewish and worked as a cleaner while his Irish father Harry O’Connor grafted as a council binman.

The TV legend died “peacefully in his sleep” last month after a fall at his Buckinghamshire home, at the age of 88. O’Connor will be remembered tonight as part of the ITV documentary The Ultimate Entertainer, which honours his remarkable five decades in showbusiness. During that time, the variety performer rubbed shoulders with celebrities from all generations and even the royals.
Des O’Connor Tonight soon followed, running for seven series on BBC Two, and then a further seventeen series once it switched to ITV.
He was also a huge game show host, taking over from Des Lynham as the host of Countdown with Carol Vorderman, and Take Your pick - where he met his fourth wife Jodie Wilson.
Des also hosted the compèred the Royal Variety Performance in both 1995 and 1997.
In 2002, Des landed an afternoon slot alongside Melanie Sykes, for their show Today with Des and Mel.
