NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) -For the past 33 days, the trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties have had a hospitalization rate of 15 percent or more of its hospitalsâ total capacity.
On Monday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA Hâs hospitalization rate rose to 24.24 percent, which was up from yesterday. Yesterday, the hospitalization rate was at 26.69 percent.
The last time that TSA H was below the 15-percent threshold was on Dec. 18.

On Sunday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA Hâs hospitalization rate rose to 23.70 percent, which was up slightly from yesterday. Yesterday, the hospitalization rate was at 23.70 percent.
For the past 28 days, the trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties has had a hospitalization rate of 15 percent or more of its hospitals’ total capacity.
