OLNEY â An accident at 7:49 p.m. Saturday claimed the lives of DeAnn Richardson, 48, and Judy L. Jourdan, 69, both of Olney, reports Illinois State Police District 12.
According to the accident report, Michael W. Mattox, 60 of Dundas, was westbound on West North Avenue approaching South West Street driving a black 2020 Chevrolet Silverado when he proceeded through the intersection, ran off the roadway on the northwest corner and struck the outdoor patio portion of the Deuceâs Wild Saloon, striking Richardson and Jourdan where they were standing.
Richardson and Jourdan were pronounced dead at the scene by the Richland County Coronerâs Office.

Two women were killed when struck by a pickup truck Saturday in Olney.
48-year-old DeAnn Richardson and 69-year-old Judy Jourdan, both of Olney, were killed in the incident, which occurred at 7:49pm.
Illinois State Police report the pickup truck, driven by 60-year-old Michael Mattox of Dundas, was traveling on North Avenue near West Street in Olney when the truck proceeded through the intersection. The truck ran off the roadway and struck an outdoor patio portion of Deuce s Wild Saloon. Richardson and Jordan, who were standing on the patio were struck by the pickup truck. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by officials from the Richland County Coroner s Office.

Olney, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois State Police say two women are dead after being struck by a drunk driver while they were standing on the patio of an Olney bar.
ISP says the crash happened Saturday evening at Deuce’s Wild Saloon in the 400-block of West Street in Olney.
Troopers say 60-year-old Michael Mattox went off the road at the northwest corner of the intersection of West North Avenue and South West Street, then crashed into the outdoor patio.
ISP says 48-year-old DeAnn Richardson and 69-year-old Judy Jourdan were hit by the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
