Demons champion met with three clubs before re-signing in 2008

Melbourne champion Brad Green came close to leaving the club in 2008.
Green met with Sydney, Carlton and Collingwood after the struggling Demons finished last on the ladder in Dean Baileyâs first season as senior coach.
But after much thought, Green decided to remain loyal to Melbourne, signing a three-year contract extension and going on to captain the club in 2011.
