Impact Teen Drivers provides awareness and education to teenagers, their parents and community members about all facets of responsible driving. The goal is to reduce the number of injuries and deaths from the lack of taking personal responsibility while driving.

What do you consider lethal? Would you ever consider driving to be lethal to your teen?
Vehicle crashes are the No. 1 cause of injury-related death for teens in North Dakota, with most of those crashes being preventable. Through educational programs like Impact Teen Drivers, it’s possible to make driving less deadly for teens, and for everyone else on North Dakota roads.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) Two teenage boys were arrested overnight after investigators say they carjacked an SUV and led deputies on a chase.
Deputies say the two teens stole a man s Cadillac SUV at gunpoint around 2:45 a.m. Friday.
A nearby Harris County sheriff s deputy spotted the stolen SUV near the Eastex Freeway and attempted to stop the driver.
The teen driver didn t stop, and that s when the chase began, investigators say.
At about 3am District 2 and vehicular crimes unit deputies located a vehicle stolen during a car jacking shortly after 10pm. Hey everyone, today starts National Teen Driver Safety Week. We have a lot of young drivers on the road her in SWLA trying to get their drivers license. Let s try and give them some extra space on the roadways, as they may be slower than the rest of us. That is, of course, because they are actually going the speed limit!
All jokes aside, let s also take an extra moment to remind those teen drivers to buckle up and stay off that phone.

Since September 2020, the FMCSA has been considering the possibility of a pilot program allowing teen truck drivers to haul across state lines. While some trucking organizations stand behind the possibility of the pilot program, many individuals are not so sure about the safety of the proposed program.
Although the potential program is still in the planning stages, the American Trucking Association has come out in support of the lowered interstate driving age, claiming that it could help with the controversial truck driver shortage facing the industry, which has only been exacerbated by the pandemic.
”We came into the pandemic with a need to put more men and women behind the wheel of trucks,” said Bill Sullivan of the American Trucking Associations.
