After months of speculation, character assaults and political jabs, the attorney general s team says it all came down to the testimony of the women.
Not only was each woman s testimony corroborated, but Discrimination Attorney Anne Clark singled out the clarity of details from former aide 25-year-old Charlotte Bennett, who said the governor asked if she had ever been with an older man. Charlotte Bennett talked to people and texted people contemporaneously. Some of her texts were practically in real-time regarding conversations with the governor, said Clark.
During his 11 hours of testimony in response to the allegations, Clark said the governor did admit that Bennett was telling the truth.

What we know about the 11 women in the Cuomo harassment report
Tuesday’s devastating report from state Attorney General Tish James detailed instances of sexual harassment and mistreatment of 11 women by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Some of those 11 women are named in the report others feared retaliation or other reprisals for publicly coming forward and nine of them are current or former state employees.
Many of their accounts share similarities women said they were uncomfortable with Cuomo’s attempts to hug and kiss them or give them nicknames. Others detailed more shocking instances of inappropriate behavior, though James said Tuesday that her office would not pursue criminal charges and “there’s no penalty specifically tied to this report

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is unlikely to face true justice if a criminal proceeding is commenced and he is found guilty of any crimes based on the New York attorney general s report that the governor sexually harassed several women, because Democrats are rarely if ever held responsible for their actions, Dan Bongino said Tuesday on The Dan Bongino Show.
Bongino explained to listeners who were awaiting his take on the burgeoning scandal that although he does not like his fellow Queens, N.Y. native, many times Democrats in his position either aren t covered well by the media or get off largely scot-free.
The report, by Attorney General Letitia James, concludes that the Governor sexually harassed 11 women.
President Biden has called for Governor Cuomo to resign after a state investigation found that he had sexually harassed 11 women, breaking state and federal laws.
Lawmakers in Albany expect to wrap up an impeachment inquiry soon.
Lauren Leader, a gender and workplace expert, said Cuomo can’t continue to run the state effectively.
“The report by Tish James and the independent counsel is absolutely damning,” she said, “the accusations even before the report were horrific, now we have even more evidence of even more accusers.”
