4 killed during robbery at East Texas home, 3 arrested

NEW SUMMERFIELD, Texas – Three men were arrested on capital murder charges in the fatal shootings of four people at a home in East Texas, authorities said Wednesday.
Jesse Pawlowski, 20, Billy Phillips, 37, and Dylan Welch 21, were arrested Tuesday in the killings near New Summerfield, a small community about 125 miles (200 kilometers) southeast of Dallas. They were expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
Cherokee County Sheriff Brent Dickson said a woman called authorities Tuesday morning after finding one of the four victims, 18-year-old John Clinton, dead in her driveway. Investigators then found the other three in a mobile home behind her residence. They were Clinton’s mother, 39-year-old Ami Hickey, Jeff Gerla, 47, and Amanda Bain, 39.
The Cherokee County Sheriffâs Department has announced the Tuesday night arrest of three people who are suspects in a quadruple homicide earlier in the morning. Additionally, officials have released the names of those who were shot and killed.
Deputies responded to a report of a body being on a driveway of a large home in the New Summerfield Community, about 13 miles north of Rusk and about 100 miles northwest of Jasper. Deputies say they found three more bodies behind the home.
According to Sheriff Brent Dickson, the suspects are; Jesse Pawlowski, 20, Dylan Welch, 21, and Billy Phillips, 37, all of Jacksonville. Dickson says each man has been charged with Capital Murder.

NEW SUMMERFIELD, Texas - Three men are in custody for a quadruple murder in East Texas.
Three people were found dead inside a mobile home in Cherokee County about 25 miles south of Tyler. A fourth person was found dead in the driveway.
Police have charged 21-year-old Dylan Welch, 37-year-old Billy Phillips and 20-year-old Jesse Pawloski with capital murder.
Investigators say they found stolen property in one of the suspect s homes that had been taken from the crime scene.
The handgun used in the murders was also found by investigators.
