BATON ROUGE, La. (LSU) - Junior right-hander Landon Marceaux fired a career-best 10 strikeouts Saturday, Feb. 27, to lead No. 11 LSU to a 14-0 win over Nicholls in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
Marceaux (1-0) worked six innings against the Colonels, allowing no runs on two hits with no walks and 10 strikeouts.
The shutout was LSU’s first since a 2-0 win over South Alabama on April 3, 2019.
LSU blasted four homers in the game, including two by junior shortstop Drew Bianco. Dylan Crews and third baseman Jordan Thompson also homered to pace the Tigers’ 13-hit attack, and centerfielder Brody Drost collected three hits, including a double, one RBI, and two runs scored.

LAFAYETTE, La. (WAFB) - No. 11 LSU saw its bats come alive in the second half of the game Monday against Louisiana Tech but the Tigers did not have to wait long at all to find their swing in Lafayette against the Ragin Cajuns on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The Tigers (3-1) dominated in an 11-2 win over the Cajuns (3-2). LSU finished with 14 hits on the night. In addition to LSU’s hitting, the Ragin Cajuns committed three errors early in the game and the two in the second inning were costly. They had a total of five errors in the contest.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - With No. 11 LSU trailing 6-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Gavin Dugas hit a grand slam to tie the game and light the fuse that resulted in a three-inning explosion of runs against Louisiana Tech at Alex Box Stadium on Monday, Feb. 22.

The Tigers (2-1) blasted their way to a 16-7 win over the Bulldogs (1-1). They did the bulk of their damage in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.
