(Laramie, WY) – The freshmen trio of Marcus Williams, Graham Ike and Xavier DuSell combined for 59 points to lift the Pokes past Nevada 93-88 to earn the series sweep on Sunday afternoon in the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie, Wyo. The Cowboys shot 51 percent from the field for the game including hitting their final five shots of the contest. Wyoming improves to 10-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play with the Wolf Pack falling to 10-7 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
Wyoming had five players in double-figures for the second time in the last three games. Williams led the way with 28 points going 7-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc. It marked his fifth game with 20 or more points in a game. Ike added a career-high 18 points going 7-of-10 from the field and also added six rebounds for a career-high. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Xavier DuSell had 19 points off the bench to carry Wyoming to a 77-58 win over Air Force on Monday night.
Kenny Foster had 13 points for Wyoming (8-5, 2-4 Mountain West Conference), which snapped its four-game losing streak. Drake Jeffries added 12 points, and Hunter Maldonado had 11 points and six rebounds.
Wyoming posted a season-high 16 3-pointers.
Nikc Jackson had 19 points for the Falcons (4-8, 2-6). A.J. Walker added 13 points and Glen McClintock had nine rebounds. Chris Joyce, whose 13 points per game entering the matchup ranked second on the Falcons, was held scoreless.
The Cowboys leveled the season series against the Falcons with the win. Air Force defeated Wyoming 72-69 on Saturday.
(Laramie, WY) – For the second consecutive game, the Wyoming Cowgirls got a big game from Dagny Davidsdottir and as a team, had a big second half against Air Force Monday night on their way to a 59-46 victory inside the AA.
For the second straight game, Davidsdottir tied a career-high with 16 points in the win and on Monday, also tied a career-best mark with 12 rebounds. Davidsdottir went 8-for-12 from the floor and also recorded a pair of blocks on the night as well.

The Cowgirls (6-5, 4-4 MW) had a big second half, especially the third quarter when they outscored Air Force (3-8, 1-5 MW) 19-8 in the first 10 minutes after halftime. UW hit 8-of-15 shots in the frame while Air Force went just 2-of-9. The Cowgirls led by as many as 13 in the quarter, 41-28 with 3:14 left to play after opening the half on a 17-5 run and led 43-31 heading into the final quarter.
