HOUSTON For the second time in four years, the Houston Texans enter NFL Draft weekend without first- and second-round picks. The first time came in 2018 after trading up for Deshaun Watson.
This time, it ll be due to the fact they couldn t trade Watson.
The Texans understand that Watson very well might never suit up for the franchise again. Even if he clears the 22 allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual assault, the 25-year-old made it clear that he does not want to play in Houston.
So, what does first-year GM Nick Caserio do in a situation such as this. We think for now, nothing.

12. Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina. Horn is the best defensive player in this draft. He is physical, aggressive, fast, and great in press coverage. He has good ball skills and can shut down the other team s best WR. His flaw is his grabbiness, which can be easily corrected. He is perfect for Gannon s scheme and the modern NFL.
37. Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss. Moore is undersized, but very explosive. He is reliable, constantly getting open. He uses his speed and route running to get separation on almost very play. He has good hands and can hit a home run from anywhere on the field. His only knock is his size, but we should be focused on getting the best players at WR regardless of stature. Moore can be a 100 catch a year guy lining up anywhere in the offense.

Former NFL offensive line coach Paul Alexander has worked with some of the top offensive line prospects in the draft, providing detailed preparation for what they will face in the league in a few months, including game-wreckers like Joey Bosa and Aaron Donald.
So, who better to talk with about this year’s offensive line class? Alexander was gracious enough to answer a few questions about this year’s group.
Alexander, 61, spent 26 seasons in the NFL 23 of those as the offensive line coach of the Cincinnati Bengals.
