Tonight s episode, unlike those previously held, will in large part pay tribute to the late Tony Rice. The episode will feature special guests, Jon Stickley and Lyndsay Pruett (Jon Stickley Trio) as well as Shawn Lane (Blue Highway) and will run through Tony Rice s deep repertoire of folk, Americana and bluegrass. Tony Rice is my desert-island artist and my biggest influence, shared Travis.  His song selection, his voice, and that distinctive guitar playing. Bluegrass music and acoustic guitar would not be what it is without Tony Rice. My guests this episode are also Tony Rice s children, with deep appreciation and understanding of his music.
