MINNEAPOLIS A weekend of marches, rallies, and news conferences kicked off the fight for justice for George Floyd and the conviction of former MPD officer Derek Chauvin charged with murdering Floyd.

One by one, loved ones of those killed at the hands of police, stand up in solidarity. Our stories will be the thunder and lighting and winds of justice, says Paul Johnson, a friend of Travis Jordan, killed by Minneapolis police back in 2018. Not only with our families here, but with George Floyd’s family to seek justice for all of us, said Tiffany Roberson, the sister of Jamar Clark.

• Tanner Michael Uhde, 28, of Marshalltown, was arrested Tuesday for first-offense operating while under the influence.
• Aung Win, 35, of Marshalltown, was arrested Wednesday for first-offense operating while under the influence and failure to obey a traffic control device.
• Rita Nonnie Gbala, 33, of Marshalltown, was arrested Tuesday for child endangerment.
• Travis Jordan, 48, of Marshalltown, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant.
