Cyrus Habibi-Likio stood alone on the field following Oregon’s loss to Iowa State in the Fiesta bowl, sadness sweeping over him, tears escaping his eyes.
He couldn’t bring himself to leave. He didn’t want to go into the locker room, remove his uniform and turn the page on the season, and likely his career at Oregon. The crushing weight of pending finality engulfed him.

Glendale, Arizona - After playing in their first Conference Championship game, quarterback Brock Purdy and the Iowa State Cyclones entered the contest looking to win in their first-ever New Year’s Six game. Oregon, on the other hand, looked to add to their 2-0 Fiesta Bowl record, which consisted of the 2002 victory over Colorado and the 2013 victory over Kansas State.

Glendale, Arizona - The Oregon Ducks once again lost the turnover battle this time 4 to 0 and in turn lost their first ever contest between Iowa State.
