Troy Police: Drive-By Shooter Strikes Young Boy in Home
A drive-by shooting in a residential part of Troy resulted in a young boy being hospitalized on Monday afternoon. Troy Police say the 11-year-old was inside his home when the gunshots rang out. Let s all hope for his family and the community s sake, he s okay.
Video from News 10 ABC shows Troy police investigating the scene for clues and you can see the damage left from bullet holes on the facade of the home as well as the window.
Police believe it was the result of a drive-by shooting in a residential part of Troy on Monday afternoon. According to the latest information from News 10 ABC, a large police presence is still gathered outside the residence of 24 O Neill Street as they continue to investigate.
Madden is one of the first Capital Region residents to receive the single-shot Janssen vaccine.
Following his vaccination, Madden encouraged all Troy residents to schedule an appointment when eligible to build community immunity against COVID-19.
