Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches. Only those individuals from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Many of these honored athletes and coaches are headed to the
2021 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships next week in Yankton, South Dakota.
Men’s Track Athlete of the Year
GREAT LAKES REGION – Landon Miller – Indiana Wesleyan
Miller, a senior from Goshen, Indiana, is ranked first nationally in both the mile at 4:08.42c (4:11.59f) and 5000 at 14:18.08c (14:27.27f). He is also second nationally in the 3000 at 8:16.29c (8:22.06f). Miller won both the mile and 5000 at the Crossroads League Indoor Championships.

Saidah Hardwick was named the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week announced Tuesday morning by the SAC.
A senior sprinter and high jumper, Hardwick, competed in the Camel City Invitational this past weekend where she placed first in the 400m dash with a time of 58.92 and sixth in the 60m dash with a time of 8.07. This is Hardwick’s first Track Athlete of the Week honor this season.

As they have been doing all season, Bahamian collegiate track and field athletes continued to put on a show on the indoor athletics circuit this past weekend. Bahamian athletes are gearing up for their respective conference championships.
Putting on some impressive performances in her events over the weekend was Washington State University (WSU) Cougars’ junior Charisma Taylor. She posted a school-best and meet record in the 60 meters (m) hurdles and posted another meet record in the triple jump. She won both events at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier that was held at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas, on Friday.

After a record-breaking day at the Division I Challenge on Friday, the Arkansas State track and field teams swept the four Sun Belt Conference weekly honors on Thursday.
Pauline Meyer was named Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after breaking the women’s mile school record on Friday, less than a week after shattering the school record in the 3000m. Meyer won the mile with a time of 4:50.94 while placing third in the 800m with a mark of 2:15.51. She leads the Sun Belt in both the mile and 3000m, while ranking sixth in the 800m.
