KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 Malaysia on Monday announced 22 civil suits against entities and people accused of being involved with the massive 1MDB corruption scandal, including units of global banks Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan.
The lawsuits are part of a years-long effort by Malaysia to recover billions of dollars missing from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) in a scandal that has implicated high-level officials, banks and financial institutions around the world.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Malaysia s finance ministry said Monday that sovereign wealth fund 1MDB and a former subsidiary have filed 22 lawsuits to recover assets worth over $23 billion from various institutions and individuals.

KUALA LUMPUR: IJM Construction Sdn Bhd has secured two contracts, an RM89.8 million contract for the construction of infrastructure building and public realms’ works at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur, and another contract worth RM237.8 million for the construction of Mezzo residential tower at The Light City, Gelugor, Penang.
For the first contract which was awarded by TRX City Sdn Bhd, is to undertake civil and structural and architectural works; mechanical and electrical services; both hardscape and softscape works; signages and wayfinding as well as amenities in the international financial district.
